Isuzu fuel tanker truck operation methods and daily maintenance
December 14, 2023
Isuzu oil tank trucks are an indispensable oil transportation tool on the market. With the upgrading of products, many customers lack knowledge about the overall maintenance and daily maintenance of oil tank trucks, fuel trucks and oil transport trucks. As a result, the tanker truck is prone to abnormal damage during use. Oil tank trucks will undergo strict inspection before leaving the factory. After the tank is formed, the workshop will conduct an air tightness test. After the entire vehicle is assembled, there will be a water test. After the finished product leaves the warehouse, the Technical Supervision Bureau will inspect and issue a tank Physical examination report.
The following summarizes 17 issues that should be paid attention to in daily maintenance of tank trucks:
1. The driving part that carries the oil tank, in popular terms, is the car chassis. Generally, drivers are quite knowledgeable in this area. The problem is that after installing the oil pump on the tank truck, we take power from the engine and install the drive shaft and power take-off. With these two devices, we need to pay special attention during operation. Improper operation of power take-off The device was scrapped.
2. When using and maintaining the oil pump, please strictly follow its use and maintenance instructions. The instructions are provided with the vehicle.
3. When using and maintaining the refueling machine, please strictly follow its instruction manual, which is provided with the vehicle.
4. The oil discharge is slow and oil cannot be discharged. Please check the safety valve and filter net. These should be checked frequently and cleaned.
5. The fuel tank and pipeline system of Isuzu fuel trucks should be cleaned regularly. Regularly check whether the joints of the piping system are well connected and sealed reliably.
6. To ensure that the oil tank is clean, the oil tank and the oil delivery system should be cleaned regularly. The internal and external joints at both ends of the oil delivery hose should be regularly coated with lubricating oil to make it easy and convenient to disassemble and assemble. After each work on the oil pipe is completed, the inlet and outlet outer end caps (capping caps) and both ends of the oil delivery hose (capping caps) should be capped in time to ensure that the inside of the pipe is clean.
7. The oil loading capacity should not exceed the rated loading mass. (Converted based on oil density).
8. The medium passing through the ball valve should not be too dirty to protect the sealing ring and extend the service life of the ball valve. Each ball valve should not be operated in a half-closed and half-open state for a long time, otherwise the sealing ring will easily deteriorate. The handle of each ball valve should be in the position during driving. Disabled.
9. The pump inlet screen should be removed and cleaned frequently to prevent oil residue from clogging the filter screen and affecting the flow rate.
10. The breathing valve should be kept clean and in working condition. The spring in the valve should not be replaced at will to avoid affecting the suction and deflation effects. When the breathing valve is blocked, there is a risk of tank deformation.
11. In order to prevent fire accidents in oil trucks, when the exhaust pipe or muffler is damaged, the pipeline leaks oil, or the conductor is damaged or broken, it is not allowed to use metal objects to knock the parts of the oil truck to avoid causing sparks. Firefighting equipment should be ready at all times.
12. If the sedimentation tank under the oil tank is frozen, do not bake it with fire. You can use hot steam to melt it or drive the car into a greenhouse to thaw it.
13. Before operating the Isuzu fuel truck, a lightning protection pole must be inserted into the moist soil, and the grounding tape should be grounded. Good static conductivity should always be maintained during the operation.
14. Check the fire extinguisher device before leaving the vehicle. Personnel using the fuel truck should be familiar with the use of fire extinguishers and perform inspection and maintenance according to its instructions.
15. Before operating the tank truck, check whether the pipeline system is leaking oil, whether the grounding wire is disconnected, and whether the exhaust pipe is damaged. If any problems are found, they should be solved first before operating.
16. When measuring oil, relevant regulations should be . In winter, if there is water in the self-priming pump, it must be drained to prevent the pump body from freezing.
17. When you need to enter the oil tank to work, you should pay attention to good ventilation and there must be someone outside the tank to protect you. If necessary, clean the tank with soapy water before operating.
