Regularly inspect the garbage truck for any wear or damage to important components such as wheels, hydraulic systems, and the body of the truck.Follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule for oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks.
1. Tire pressure is too high
The tire inflation pressure of wheeled engineering machinery is an important factor that determines its service life and work efficiency. Tire pressure that is too high or too low will affect its service life and is not conducive to safe driving, especially in hot summer. The scientific inflation specification should be: based on the tire's standard air pressure, the tire pressure should be slightly adjusted as the temperature changes. For example: summer should be 5%-7% lower than winter, because considering that the temperature in summer is high, the gas is heated, and the pressure increases. On the contrary, in winter, the standard air pressure must be reached or slightly lower.
2. Boil the water tank and add cold water.
Overloading of the engine, poor heat dissipation or lack of water in the water tank will cause the water tank to boil. If cold water is added immediately at this time, the cylinder head and cylinder body will burst. Therefore, once the water tank is found to be boiling during use, emergency measures should be taken to stop the operation and allow the diesel engine cooling water to cool down on its own.
3. New cylinder liners and pistons can be installed without optional accessories.
When replacing the cylinder liner and piston, it is considered that the new cylinder liner and piston are standard parts and are interchangeable, and they can be used as soon as they are installed. In fact, the dimensions of the cylinder liner and piston have a certain tolerance range. If the largest size cylinder liner is matched with the smallest size piston, the matching gap will be too large, resulting in weak compression and difficulty in starting. Therefore, when replacing, you must check the size grouping codes of the standard cylinder liner and piston. The cylinder liner and piston used must make the size grouping code of the standard piston the same as the size grouping code of the standard cylinder liner. Only in this way can the difference between the two be guaranteed. With standard fit clearance. In addition, when installing cylinder liners and pistons with the same group code in each cylinder, attention should also be paid to checking the cylinder plug clearance before installation. In order to ensure the installation standards, an inspection should be carried out before installation to prevent the installation of counterfeit and inferior products.
4. Failure to check plunger stroke allowance
During the test of the plunger fuel injection pump, many maintenance personnel do not pay attention to checking the stroke margin of the plunger. The so-called stroke allowance of the plunger refers to the amount of movement that the plunger can continue to move upward after it is pushed to the top dead center by the cam on the camshaft. After adjusting the oil supply start time, the reason why the stroke margin must be checked is because the stroke margin of the plunger is related to the wear of the plunger and sleeve. After the plunger and sleeve are worn, the plunger has to move upward for a while before it can start oil supply, thus delaying the start time of oil supply. When the adjusting bolts are unscrewed or thicker adjusting pads or gaskets are used, the lowest position of the plunger moves upward, reducing the stroke margin of the plunger. Therefore, when repairing and debugging the fuel injection pump, you should first check the stroke margin to determine whether the fuel injection pump can still be adjusted. During inspection, the following different methods should be adopted according to the different structures of the fuel injection pump: a) Rotate the camshaft, push the plunger to the top dead center, remove the oil outlet valve and valve seat, and measure with a depth vernier. b) After the plunger is pushed to the top dead center, use a screwdriver to pry up the spring seat of the plunger spring to raise the plunger to the highest point. Then use a thickness gauge to measure between the lower plane of the plunger and the tappet adjustment bolt. The standard stroke margin of the plunger is about 1.5mm, and the limit stroke margin after wear should not be less than 0.5mm.
5. Cylinder clearance measurement is inaccurate
When measuring the cylinder clearance, it is not possible to measure in the direction where the piston skirt is perpendicular to the piston pin hole, but in other directions. The structural characteristics of the aluminum alloy piston are that the top is small and the bottom is large, it is a cone, and part of the cross-section is oval, so the cylinder clearances along the circumferential direction are not equal. When measuring, the rule is based on the gap in the direction of the long axis of the ellipse, that is, the gap in the direction of the piston skirt perpendicular to the piston pin hole is measured. This measurement is more convenient and accurate, and during the reciprocating motion, the direction of the piston skirt perpendicular to the piston pin hole is subject to greater wear due to the lateral pressure. Therefore, when measuring the cylinder clearance, the piston skirt should be perpendicular to the piston. Measure the direction of the pin hole.
