Maintenance tips of ISUZU water tanker truck
In order to keep your ISUZU water sprinkler truck running well, regular maintenance is essential. Here are some key maintenance steps to ensure your sprinkler truck is in top condition at all times.
1. Check the sealing: Frequently check the sealing condition of the connections, switches and water-absorbing hoses of the water system. As soon as a leak is discovered, replace the seal immediately.
2. Inspection of fixed components: Frequently check the fixation of the water tank, pump frame, and bracket to ensure that all nuts are tightened to ensure the stability of the connection.
3. Inspection of the power take-off and water pump: Check the connection between the power take-off and the water pump to ensure that they are operating normally. If oil leakage is found in the power take-off and water pump during use, the seals should be replaced immediately.
4. Use in severe cold environments: In severely cold areas, all accumulated water in the water pump, water tank and piping system should be drained immediately after use. Note that the water pump drain plug should be closed tightly after draining water, otherwise the water suction function of the water pump will be affected.
5. Protection of tank paint: Avoid tank paint coming into contact with gasoline and kerosene, which will accelerate the damage of the paint. Regularly check the quality of the tank's paint, and if damage is found, repaint it promptly to prevent the tank from rusting.
6. Maintenance of chassis and engine: Carry out maintenance according to the operating instructions of the truck.
7. Keep the ball valve clean: Ensure that the medium passing through the ball valve is clean to avoid debris clogging the filter and affecting the flow rate. At the same time, each ball valve should not be left half-open for a long time to prevent the sealing ring from deforming.
8. Cleaning of the pump inlet filter: Frequently disassemble and clean the pump inlet filter to prevent clogging with debris and ensure smooth flow.
9. Tightening of U-bolts: Since there is a wood glue pad between the tank and the truck beam, the U-bolts may become loose due to the deformation of the wood glue after heavy loading. Therefore, these bolts must be tightened regularly, especially in the early years of a new vehicle.
